Getting Involved

The Office of Student Life advocates for all students, amplifies the collective student voice and facilitates the UTHSCSA student experience through student leadership initiatives, community building, campus-wide events and wellness programming.

Calendar of Events

This calendar will provide upcoming events. Student Life coordinates transition programs, which may include peer counseling, social events, and pertinent retention programs. This also involved collaboration with students in the implementation of programs and activities that support students.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) of the Health Science Center is comprised of representatives and alternates from each school, selected to unify all students and faculty on campus.

Student Organizations

There are more than 80 recognized student organizations on campus. Most are professional- and discipline-specific. Others are cultural, religious, social, or special interest.

Orientation Leaders

Orientation Leaders work with incoming students during the first three weeks of the semester to ease with academic and social transitions to The UT Health Science Center.
