For students to be classified for remote site instruction, students must meet the following:
- The student must be at the remote site on the last census date for the academic plan, and
- The student must be at the remote site for the majority* of the term (more than 50%) and
- The student must be participating as part of a formalized** class.
*Majority- more than 50% of the number of weeks in the term.
** Organized by the institution via an agreement.
Effective Summer 2024, the following groups of students are considered part of the remote sites:
- Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry- Laredo cohort
- Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene- Laredo cohort
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies- Laredo cohort
- Master of Deaf Education and Hearing Science- Houston cohort
