Weekend and After-Hours Care Non-Crisis

When the Student Counseling Center is closed, UT Health SA students can access virtual services through Timelycare.

TimelyCare offers the following virtual services:

  • TalkNow – 24/7, on-demand emotional support available via phone, video, and chat. (Not Counseling/Therapy/Crisis).
  • Scheduled Counseling – Select the day, time, and mental health provider of your Choice (9 session limit per academic year).
  • Health Coaching – Support for developing healthy behaviors.
  • Self-Care Journey – a library of articles, videos and interactive guides on a variety of health and well-being topics.

If in crisis…

If you are in crisis after hours (before 7am or after 6pm Monday through Friday and 24 hours on weekends, holidays, and other days the office is closed) you can reach the after-hours crisis line by calling 210-567-2648, listen to the recording, when prompted press 2, and you will be connected with our after-hours crisis support. If you experience a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Department.
