Office of Academic Quality Enhancement: Staff Information


Dr. Robin Etter Zúñiga is Executive Director of the Office of Academic Quality Enhancement. Dr. Zúñiga has more than 20 years experience as an evaluation researcher, faculty development specialist, and education policy analyst. She has in-depth experience in quantitative and qualitative methodologies with experience in the evaluation of the use of technology in instruction at all educational levels, and in the areas of college-readiness and developmental education at the post-secondary level. Prior to joining the Health Science Center Dr. Zúñiga was Senior Research Associate at SEDL, a nonprofit educational research organization. Prior to that she was the Senior Program Evaluator at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, where she conducted and supervised evaluations of statewide college-readiness initiatives. Dr. Zúñiga holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Program Evaluation from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on public policy analysis from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
