Le’Keisha Johnson, Ed.D., MBA, BBA is the Director of Student Affairs, Student Ombudsperson, & Foster Care Liaison. Le’Keisha collaborates with campus-wide leadership to create impactful programming and services for all health campus students. With 20 years of experience, she understands the importance of collaboration in student affairs, as well as, patient care and research. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies/T.V., fashion, sports, and quality time with her husband, family and friends.

Ben Rivers, BS, MS, is the Associate Director for the Office of Student Life. He oversees all Wellness and Recreational Sports activities, Veteran’s Advocate for all students, Career Development Activities along with many other responsibilities. Ben holds a B.S. from Texas A&M and a M.S. in Sports Administration from Texas Tech University. He is married and has two children. He officiates high school and college basketball, high school football and softball.
Austin Cervantes, BA, M.Ed., is the Program Manager for the Office of Student Life. He oversees and advises the Student Government Association, as well as assesses, designs, and coordinates various student leadership development initiatives. He also serves as the university-wide Student Organization Advisor and Student Ombudsperson. Austin attended Schreiner University, where he earned a BA in Mathematics and a Master of Educational Leadership. Beyond his professional pursuits, Austin enjoys leisurely walks, indulging in a game of tennis, and moments spent with friends and family.
Catherine Cuellar, B.A., M.S., is a Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Life. She supports student engagement efforts, connects students with essential campus resources, and coordinates basic needs services, including overseeing the Student Food Pantry. Catherine holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology. In her free time, she enjoys exploring different perspectives, expressing her creativity through art, and relaxing with her pets.
