We hope you learned a lot during your orientation. Below you will find a list of resources discussed during your session. We are constantly striving to make orientation informative and helpful so please provide us feedback about your orientation experience.

  1. Check for any holds that may prevent you from registering for classes. For assistance with the  Student Web Orientation and Declaration of Health Insurance holds, click here.
  2. Register for your classes
  3. Purchase your books at the university bookstore
  4. View Parking Permit Options; Order Permit 
  5. Find your Parking space Long Campus (Main Campus), Greehey (North Campus)
  6. Get your ID Card
  7. Check your UTHSCSA LiveMail email account
  8. Log into Canvas
  9. Pay your tuition and fees
  10. Sign up for Direct Deposit for your financial Aid
  11. Register for HSC Alert

Before You Attend Orientation

Welcome to the UT Health San Antonio!

We understand starting at a new school can be confusing, overwhelming, and at times frustrating. We want you to have a great experience on campus starting with the first day.

Rather than give you a few hundred pieces of paper you will find all the information you need here. To help you get started here are some things you can do before you attend orientation.

Before you attend orientation:

  • Completion of department/School mandatory training and the student web orientation through the Knowledge Center
    • Click “Course Catalog”
    • Click “Academics”
    • Click “Student Web Orientation”
    • NOTE: The student web orientation hold will be removed within 24-48 hours after you’ve completed the orientation module.
